Respiratory Services

With more than 25 years of experience in respiratory care, certified Respiratory Therapist Tammy Harshman has the clinical expertise to help patients follow the respiratory therapy plan outlined by their Physician.

Illini Health Services offers complete training, set-up and periodic maintenance for all of the following respiratory services.

• Oxygen Concentrators-Stationary Units designed specifically for in-home use, these devices make their own oxygen and deliver it at the prescribed rate.
  
• Portable Oxygen System- these small, lightweight units give you the mobility you need, making it easier to take part in leisure and social activities.
  
• Cpap Systems-these devices, used in the home, provide the most common approach for the treatment of sleep apnea, a disorder that interrupts sleep, intensifies snoring and causes excessive daytime sleepiness.
  
• BiPap Systems-similar to CPAP in design, these systems are also used in the home for the treatment of sleep related breathing-disorders. BiPap systems are prescribed for patients with specific respiratory illness.
  

Retail Pharmacy

Illini Health Services also operates a full service pharmacy. We offer free in-town delivery on prescriptions for customers in Barry, Pleasant Hill, Griggsville, Pittsfield and other surrounding communities - check to see if we deliver to your community. We also offer free mailing on most prescriptions.

Our full-time pharmacist Bruce Hamilton can answer your prescription questions.

Medical Equipment For The Home

IHS offers a full line of quality medical products and services with a strong commitment to customer service.

The professionally trained staff can assist customers with home oxygen therapy, respiratory needs and custom compression hosiery fitting. IHS also carries ostomy, wound care and di abetic supplies, as well as first aid supplies, aid for daily living, orthopedic products, breast pumps and health and wellness products.

IHS provides free equipment delivery and set-up and direct billing to Medicare/Medicaid or other insurance.

Convenient Billing Services

Understanding how charges are billed to your insurance, HMO, Medicare or Medicaid can be extremely frustrating. However, our billing staff will bill the charges for you and can ful ly explain each activity on your bill. This is especially important when there is more than one payor involved.
